About this project

ReasonKey is an open-source Windows tray utility from Rotorlash Labs that turns model and reasoning selection into a single keyboard shortcut. Built with AutoHotkey v2 and Windows UI Automation, it detects the active Codex or ChatGPT composer, applies a configurable preset through keyboard-accessible controls, and verifies the resulting selection. It supports separate ChatGPT power presets, editable INI configuration, and per-user installation that preserves existing settings during upgrades. Distributed through GitHub and Microsoft Store, with a native C++ helper for Store updates. No OpenAI API key is required, and the utility does not collect conversation content or modify Codex/ChatGPT files. This is an unofficial community utility, not made, endorsed, or supported by OpenAI.
