This page describes nauroman.com, Roman Naumov's portfolio, and its AI assistant.
Visiting the site
Your browser sends requests to the site's hosting infrastructure to load pages and assets. Those requests include connection information such as your IP address, browser information and the requested URL. Hosting and security systems may process request logs. Do not put private information in URLs.
Optional Google Analytics
Analytics is off until you choose Allow analytics. Rejecting it does not limit the portfolio or AI assistant. If you allow it, this site loads Google Analytics and sends known portfolio page paths and basic interactions, such as opening the assistant or navigating a project gallery. Google also receives connection and device information and may set cookies to distinguish visits. The site disables advertising signals in its analytics configuration.
The site does not include chat text, audio, transcripts, message lengths, full link URLs, query strings, URL fragments, or incoming referrers in analytics events. Unknown page paths are not tracked.
Use Analytics settings at the bottom left of any page to allow or reject analytics. Both choices are saved in local browser storage under nauroman.analytics.v1 for this site address until you change the choice or clear site data. They do not automatically transfer to other browsers, devices or site addresses. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the open page and its in-site navigation; a reload starts with analytics off and asks again.
Rejecting after allowing immediately stops this page's analytics and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. It cannot recall requests already sent or delete data Google has already received. Other open tabs using the same site storage receive the updated choice.
If JavaScript is disabled, analytics stays off; this page remains readable. Browser blockers may also prevent analytics from loading after you allow it.
How Google uses information from sites that use its services
Using the AI assistant
The assistant is optional and uses OpenAI. When you send a text message, your message and recent conversation history are sent to this site's server, which forwards them with instructions about Roman's portfolio to OpenAI to generate a reply. The chat interface keeps the current conversation in page memory.
When you start voice, the site's server establishes a voice connection with OpenAI. With your browser's microphone permission, your browser sends microphone audio and connection information directly to OpenAI and plays its generated voice. The site keeps a temporary connection record so its server can request that OpenAI end the call. Use the stop control to end the voice session; you can also revoke microphone permission in your browser. Text chat does not require microphone access.
AI usage limits are shared by all visitors. The server keeps usage counters to protect the service and control costs; it does not need an identifying cookie for these limits. These controls operate independently of optional analytics.
Avoid sending sensitive or confidential information. Rejecting analytics does not stop the processing needed for an AI conversation you choose to start. This notice does not promise specific provider retention periods, account settings, or deletion of information already sent.
