About this project

A from-scratch personal portfolio at nauroman.com built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion. The site showcases two decades of game and interactive work, with text chat and an OpenAI GPT-Live voice assistant connected through WebRTC. The voice assistant uses gpt-live-1 for conversation and gpt-6-luna for portfolio questions. Both assistants use a shared knowledge base generated from the portfolio project catalog alongside Roman's professional background. Hosted on AWS Amplify with Next.js server route handlers, shared DynamoDB rate limits, and server-side credentials loaded from AWS Secrets Manager. Voice lifecycle controls are signed, and AWS Step Functions and Lambda provide independent call deadlines without continuous database polling. Designed with motion, accessibility, and responsive browsing in mind.
